PRESENTATION OF CANOVAS WATCHES 1929
Barcelona, June 19, 2024. On Thursday, June 27, the watch brand Canovas 1929 will present its first collection of watches in the physical store of Joyería Cánovas de la Barceloneta, Barcelona. Canovas 1929 is a watch brand that was born in 2024. The first collection is made up of 350 listed units, making a total of 36 models of different combinations and styles for both men and women. Cánovas 1929 watches are made with excellent quality stainless steel and provide the reliability of the Japanese quartz movement with a 3-year warranty. It offers a water resistance of 200m thanks to its perfectly protected screw-down crown, the powerful screw-down lid and the resistant sapphire crystal. The idea was born to commemorate the legacy and history of the founder of Joyería Cánovas, Mr. Alfonso Cánovas Lapuente, who left us at the age of 103 in 2021. Alfonso began his career in the jewelry and watch sector in 1929, at only 12 years old, in a workshop as an apprentice and it was in 1945 when he opened the current Cánovas Jewelry Store. The event will take place on June 27 at Joyería Cánovas, in Barceloneta, Barcelona, specifically at Calle Maquinista 16, 08003. It will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the presentation of the Cánovas 1929 watches , and later there will be a short speech explaining the project, how it was forged and the specifications of the watches.
